FFWD Makeup Essentials Day 1

For Day 1 of Fashion Forward Dubai I choose a very light and natural look with a little touch of rose blush for my eyes. As you saw in previous look I had a very pastel outfit and I wanted my makeup to complete the entire look.

As a base I used Becca Backlight Priming Filter – Infused with three unique Filtering Luminescent Pearls, each one adds a different drop of diffused light. Blended together, they impart a one-of-a-kind, lightweight, whipped fluid that creates a smooth canvas and acts as an instant filter, while the vitamin E-enriched formula minimizes the appearance of fine lines. For the eyes I have this new Eyeshadow Primer Potion from Urban Decay (anti ageing as well) which does a great job so far. As a concealer I got thisΒ amazing product calledΒ It’s TOP from It’s Skin on one of my trips to Singapore. Very creamy and so easy to apply. Very smooth on the skin. To set all primers together I usually use the Prime’n SetΒ fixing makeup powder from GOSH. Works really well.ffwd-makeup-essentials0 ffwd-makeup-essentials1 ffwd-makeup-essentials2 ffwd-makeup-essentials16

Here is one of my favouriteΒ Cocoa Blend palette from Zoeva Cosmetics that I use each and every day. Β I love this german brand. They have awesome brushes as well. For my makeup I use the first three shadows on the upper row of the palette. The Sweeter End shadow as a base, then I Β blended the upper corner with Warm notes and finished wit Bitter Stary for highlighting.

The Benefits Brows products are just insanely addictive. I can’t finish my makeup without this particular products “Gimme Brow”. I love how it gives a very natural look. It brings alive each and every brow you have :))

Sephora launched this little thing that is so soo easy to use. The pencil si nice but you’ll need to soak it twice before getting your eye line done.

Here is my new love – The Tarteist mascara from Tarte. I have around 24 mascaras and this one isΒ my favourite now. It defines very well the eyelashes, especially the bottom ones. You’ll be surprised!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Conturing Kit (in powder) is Alma Mater of any contour ritual. I use the yellow powder for my under eye area, exactly where I had applied the concealer first. Then I use the Β brown notes to contour the cheeks bones and at the end I go here and there to highlight a little bit with the baby pinkie one. As a brush I usually use the one from Zoeva but I lost it somewhere. Can’t find it for Β 1 week now…and is really tough without it.

The most naughty blush I ever had. If it wouldn’t be so good I would give it to my mom long time πŸ™‚ (such a selfish daughter!). It is one of Becca’s Luminous Blushes collection. Very pigmented and you need just a little of product to finish the makeup. Foxglove colour here.

Doesn’t matter where Β I go and what kind of makeup I wear this shiny friend from MAC are never missing from my upper cheeks πŸ™‚ I apply it with this very tiny kabuki blush from Skin79.

Yay, yay, yay! One of The newest Benefit “Double The Lip” lipie. Benefit is going to launch soon a kit of five lipsticks that will wow you. I will do a separate review on them very soon. I applied just a tiny bit of pinkie colour and then smoothed everything with glossy Lip Injection from Too Faced. The Lip Injection is literally a double lips maker. I believe it is made of pepper as it make me blow every time I apply it. Seems like it burns a little bit the lips but then you have then swallow and they look BIIIIIIIiiiiiiG :))))) If you don’t have the Lip Injection yet you can eat a very spicy Thai food and then after you’ll clean off your tears check your lips in the mirror. You’ll see your lips Agelina Jolie version :))) Kisses,
